Soweto-born musician Olafemi Roy, known by her stage name 6lue RSA, descends from the legendary African Jazz Pioneers. At 28, she carries the rich musical legacy of her grandparents, Queeneth and Timothy Ndaba.
As one of the last students of the world-renowned Dorkey House, 6lue RSA had the privilege of rehearsing alongside icons like Dolly Rathebe, Busi Mhlongo, Bheki Khoza, and Sphiwe Mkize.
Trained in violin and piano, her grandmother and trainer always believed she was destined to be a vocalist.
6lue RSA has jammed with musicians worldwide and shared the stage with big names such as Thapelo Joseph Mofokeng and Dolly Rathebe. Ever eager to grow and collaborate, she seeks to work with both emerging and established artists.

Yes, we provide sound and lighting equipment for local events. However, for international shows, we do not provide these services.
Yes, we're happy to play music from Spotify before, after, and between our sets. We can either choose the music ourselves or allow the client to select the music they prefer.
One of the best gigs we've done was a series of shows across South Africa, where we had the opportunity to collaborate with numerous international artists, including Abel Selaocoe and many others. As for the best venue we've worked at, we've had memorable experiences at various locations that have provided exceptional acoustics and a great atmosphere for our performances.
Our favorite type of event is definitely festivals and big arena shows. We thrive on the energy and connection with the audience that these large-scale events provide. The atmosphere and scale allow us to fully engage with the crowd, creating memorable experiences for everyone involved.
Our journey began with being part of the prestigious big band at the Youth Legends in Dorkey House, South Africa. This experience ignited our passion for performance and equipped us with the skills needed to host our own shows locally and internationally. It laid the foundation for our career in music, shaping our ability to connect with audiences and deliver memorable performances across various stages.
I have been most influenced by the late Queeneth Ndaba, whose legacy in African spiritual music has deeply inspired me. My all-time favorite artists are Michael Jackson and Billie Holiday. If I were to choose the greatest song of all time, it would be "Strange Fruit" by Billie Holiday.
We typically arrive 2 hours before the performance to set up our equipment and ensure everything is ready for a seamless show. Our usual performance consists of 2 sets, either 2 x 45 minutes or 2 x 60 minutes, as we have found these set times work well for us and our audiences. However, we are flexible and can adjust our performance length to meet the specific needs and preferences of our clients. Customer satisfaction is our priority, and we always strive to deliver a memorable and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.
We're happy to perform outside; however, we do request certain accommodations to ensure a smooth performance. These include access to shade to protect our equipment and performers, a flat and level surface for safety and stability, and a power supply conveniently located near the performance area. These considerations help us deliver our best performance regardless of the venue setting.

Previous clients commonly describe our performances as breathtaking and enchanting. Many are moved to tears during our shows, often in disbelief at the emotional impact and connection we create through our music.
