my name is Kateřina and I play the alto and tenor saxophone which I studied at Jazz Jaroslav Ježek's Conservatory in Prague CZ.
I can play events on my own due to the genre request, event vibration or with band, mainly jazz-pop/pop-rock/latin/fusions, other mixed genres for the single event mood.
During my playing research on meaning of life I played in the USA, Hungary, Poland, Germany, near Ural, or with Dan Bárta, Karel Štědrý&Pavlína Filipovská, Martin Růža and others.
Our current bands play original pieces, each band for different audience. Kristýna Gilarová Music (pop-rock/jazz-pop - wedding, celebration, vernissage); Rozejděte se, občane! (fusion of blues-rock/ambient below our poems recitation, we either play the music background on its own at concerts); Paris (improvisation of the guitar/vocals of my coleague and my sax/vocals above the wonder mix box full of his self-composed backgrounds, alternative jazz/funk/ambient); and let's play a jam together any time!
It is also being my big pleasure to play with a band whose alto or tenor saxophonist cannot play a concert, with my good sight reading or other listen to-learning ways.
