We perform world music, bringing in the flavours of Bengal and fusing them with Western arrangements. Our songs include traditional and modern Bengali songs, as well as traditional and modern European and American songs and original numbers. We fuse the flavours of Bengal with blues, jazz and rock and serve a unique brand of music. An added offering is the introduction of a classically trained dancer who performs with us. We perform songs as well as instrumentals with a fusion of Indian classical, folk, blues, jazz and rock.

We need a performance space of at least 6 meters x 4 meters. We need a proper PA system (we will bring in only the instruments - guitars, bass and keyboards - and will plug in directly to the mixing board, drums and drum microphones to be provided by organizer of show) We will require at least 3 X 13 amp power sockets and at least one parking space big enough to fit a van.

We do not provide sound and lighting equipment. This has to be provided by the organizer.
Yes, we’re happy to play music from Spotify before, after and between our sets. We’re happy to choose the music ourselves or let the client choose the music.

Our favourite type of events are world music festivals but we are happy to play at any venue, big or small.

One of the greatest songs of all time to us is " What a wonderful world" by Louis Armstrong. We have been influenced by many performers/ musicians from across the world and they include Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, Elton John, The Beatles, Simon and Garfunkel, Manhattan Transfer, John McLaughlin, Pat Metheny, Jimi Hendrix, Clapton, to name just a few....
We normally arrive 2 - 3 hours before the performance to set up. We perform 2 X 60 minute sets but are happy to performer longer or shorter. 2 hours seems to be the most suitable to us and the audience.
We’re happy to play outside but we ask for shade, a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area.
We can learn specific songs before the event but we usually limit this to 5 songs. The clients are welcome to pick a set list from our repertoire or let us choose the music for them.
