I am a Bagpiper and Irish whistler in Nanaimo, BC, Canada available for your event. I can provide any tune you would like (I do take requests) for your wedding, birthday party, sporting event or anything esle you would like a bagpiper for.
I am also the Bagpiper for local Celtic Punk Band, The Grinning Barretts. If you would like some Celtic Punk in your life, I can arrange that too.
Another avenue of music I follow is that I co-host an Irish music session with my wife every Sunday, 16:30-18:30 at The Nanaimo Bar on Front Street. So, if you would like some Irish music for your event, I can aid you with that as well.
One on one instruction in bagpiping and whistling is also something I provide as well. Please inquire about rates and scheduling.

As a bagpiper, I have piped in Lieutenant Governer Garde Gardom and have been a former instructor for a cadet band in Estevan, Saskatchewan. For The Grinning Barretts, we have many. Riot Brewing shows, The Waverley Hotel, Little Fernwood and Wise Hall all come to mind
Any event where the crowd is dancing/moshing and enjoying themselves. A happy crowd makes for a happy bagpiper
I started bagpiping January 1995 with the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #53 Pipe Band in Duncan, BC and have been a member of many pipe bands in BC, Alberta, and Saskatchewan since then. In 2001 I did some shows with an AC/DC cover band and joined The Grinning Barretts in 2016 where we have been steadily gigging since then. I started the Irish music session in Nanaimo in April 2023.
I am a fan of Micheal Gray's bagpipe compositions, enjoy Triddana, Skiltron, Eluveitie, Talisk, Imar, Deira, and Inn Echo. I don't have a favourite artist or song as that changes to my mood mostly.
As an individual bagpiper I can be ready in 15 minutes as long as I have somewhere to warm my pipes up. The Grinning Barretts usually need minimum 2 hours for setup and soundcheck. More time is preferred
