"Gentlemen Groove played at our recent wedding and they were fantastic. The band play a range of songs and tailored the set list on the night to suit the crowd. Many of our guests commented on the band and really enjoyed the music. Also the band manager is quick and helpful when responding to queries. Would definitely recommend."

"Absolutely incredible band, we cannot recommend them enough! These guys went above and beyond, they made our night - from performing our first dance to keeping the dance floor full all evening! These guys helped to make our wedding day one to truly remember. We have had so many compliments from guests on how great these guys were. Not only did they do great a performance on the night, but they answered our every query quickly and tailored the music for our wedding perfectly. " Big Mac’s Wholly Soul Band The Stage said ; 'An explosive start to the evening was provided by Big Mac's Wholly Soul Band. This is the way to play soul and Motown-a full ten piece band, great brass section, girl backing singers, pulsating rhythm section and Big Mac himself on lead vocals-not only great musicianship but also a great performance. I am not surprised that it is one of the most popular outfits in South Wales, as it was absolutely superb. If you book corporate functions or summer balls and want a great dance band, you could do a lot worse. This is a truly hot band.' "

"Excellent communication throughout, arrived on time and set up quietly during dinner in a not particularly large marquee, in the middle of nowhere. Friendly and of course an excellent band, playing upbeat songs and a varied set. We have heard a lot from our guests that they thought they were great. The dancefloor was never empty!"

" I BEYOND THANK YOU AND YOUR BAND! When I tell you that you guys were all people were buzzing about!!! The music was excellent and there were so many compliments. There were a few last min changes like Chilly Bill Smith so he didn't know that they were not supposed to sing but it worked out and everyone joined in from what I could hear from the lobby. Oh and the 'church' banter was perfect. I am sure a few of them would caught the Holy Ghost if yall kept going...lol The chemistry was fantastic! When Ms. Ava is happy then we are all happy - lol."

"I hired this band for a private event and they were way above my expectations. I will most definitely hire them again. They are very well dressed and professional and delivered the show with my guests being very involved and dancing the night away. This band is definitely a must see."

"AMAZING! We changed our plans from having a DJ to a band with 1 week to go for our wedding in June 2021! Me and my Husband have incredibly different tastes in music so was very skeptical about selecting a band! As soon as I sent a request, Phil was straight on the phone, talking us through all the details and immediately made me feel confident about our choice! I even tried my luck at asking them to sing our first dance song.. within a week they learnt it and performed it at the wedding and It was just incredible! Every single wedding guest commented how brilliant the band were! From start of the set to the end they were faultless! I can’t recommend them enough!"
