Hi!
We are Paul & Karen, also known as 2BEATZ, an acoustic guitar and harmony vocal duo based in Lymm in Cheshire.
We are experienced performers having fronted a busy and successful function band called The Retrobeats for 14 years. We offer an entertaining lively show of great music from across the decades with good audience engagement and fun. Our repertoire features both male and female lead vocals with harmonies on many songs.
Artistes we cover include Elvis Presley, Dusty Springfield, Alison Moyet, The Beatles, Elton John, Neil Diamond, David Essex, Madness, Showaddywaddy, Human League, Cliff Richard, Robbie Williams, Cilla Black and many more. Our repertoire is made up of sing-along songs and we like to throw in surprises. People often comment on how they enjoy the variety of music we play.

We require two plug sockets on the stage or performance area. If the nearest power supply is more than 5m away, please let us know in advance so we can bring suitable extension leads and safety equipment.
If there is a volume restriction at the venue, also please let us know. We are not a loud band but we prefer to be pre-warned if a limiter is in place.
The ideal performance area size is 5m by 3m or larger but we can fit into a smaller space if required.
The only thing we ask for on the night is somewhere to change into our stage clothes and somewhere to sit before, between and after our performances.
We are very keen to ensure everything is absolutely as you want it on the night so any requests, suggestions etc. please do ask.
Yes. We are self contained.
Yes we can do for an extra nominal fee. This music can be your choice or ours
We've done many hundreds of gigs and we love them all!
We allow ourselves an hour to setup but it usually only takes us 20 minutes, we arrive well in time so we are not rushing.
Yes so long as there is cover / protection from the elements!
We have a list of songs we work from and we tailor this to the audience range. We can learn new songs with enough notice and if they fit our profile.
