With my salsa orchestra in Cali, Colombia, we played several shows for an audience of 40,000 people at the city stadium during the Cali fair, which takes place every year between December 25 and 30.
For me, all events are favorites because my passion is music and making people happy with my profession, with my trumpet, my voice, and the music I make.
I began studying music at the age of 5. I started at the conservatory at age 10. Later, I went to university. I started professionally at age 22 with the Cali Symphony Orchestra and the Salsa Orchestra.
My favorite music is classical, jazz, salsa, cumbia, bolero, etc. Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, Miles Davies, Chet Baker, Fania Old Star, Company Segundo, Buena Vista social club, etc.
I arrive an hour early. If the contract is for an hour, I'll work for an hour straight. If the contract is for more than an hour, I'll work for 50 minutes with a 10-minute break between each session.
