Alex has played piano professionally since 2010, performing as a solo artist as well as with groups and ensembles of varying styles and sizes. If you would like Alex to play for your wedding, company, ensemble, concert or other event, please contact him for his availability.
Alex has a wide range of the most up-to-date equipment, which is at the industry standard of performance in any musical setting.
Achieving Grade 8 standard in 2011, he then went on to study piano under Karin Schistek while at the University of Edinburgh. He has been praised for his versatility, providing authentic performances of a wide range of styles – from pop and jazz through to all eras of Western art music.
Alex has received particular acclaim for his abilities as an accompanist. His playing is always sensitive to the soloist or group he performs with, being mindful of the overall sound of the performance. He is currently principal accompanist for the historic Gresley Male Voice Choir, based in Derbyshire, UK.

If I'm playing at a venue with a piano/keyboard already, nothing at all! If I am bringing my own equipment, access to a standard UK power socket within 35 metres will suffice. If I am bringing my baby grand piano shell, I will need a performance space of around 2 meters square.
All sound equipment can be provided by me.
Happy to perform outside provide the playing surface is flat and I have access to power.
All jobs are completely bespoke to the client. Just let me know as soon as possible so I can source sheet music if necessary.
