I require at least a 3x3m space for my PA and myself. 2 x 13 amp power sockets and 1 car parking space.
I will need any specific directions to the venue.
I am self contained with my own PA system that can reach a capacity of 500 people.
Yes I am happy to play background music before, between and after my sets.
I have performed at The Royal Albert Hall, London for 6000 people and 6M TV Viewers. This experience spurred me on to make music my full time job.
I enjoy all types of events, especially receptions of any kind where I can create an elegant and relaxed atmosphere for people to mingle and socialise in.
I started gigging at 14 with my guitar and have only gotten better since. I fell in love with jazz singing and wanted to incorporate it into my solo act, so I practiced my guitar skills to accompany myself to a higher standard. Now I perform at least once a week with just my guitar and me and I love it!
I am hugely influenced by female jazz singers such as Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan and Peggy Lee. I always try and put 'Fever' into my sets as lots of guests recognise it and it's fun to play with all the key changes.
I usually arrive at least 1 hour before my performance time to set up and clarify set times or any changes with the client. I usually perform 2x 45 minute sets however this can be adjusted depending on the requirements for the event.
I am happy to perform outside as long as there is some cover if it looks like rain!
I usually create a custom set list for the event from my extensive repertoire list, alternatively, clients can choose their set from my repertoire list with a free request not on the list.
Previous Clients have commented on my performance as a perfect accompaniment to their event, soft and mellow music that non intrusive or too loud.
