I started singing professionally at 5 years old performing rancheras for corporate and charity events around Southern Los Angeles. Growing up in South LA I was able to absorb influences from many different cultures. When I was 14 I won the Spanish singing competition on Telemundo called “Quinceañera”. Two years later (2009), I auditioned for and competed on season 8 of American Idol, eventually taking fourth place.
I released my debut album. Album credits include Pink, Max Martin, Shellback, Howard Benson, David Hodges, Toby Gad, Greg Wells, and Kevin Rudolph. After Jive went under, I started working as a BGV, session singer, and frontwoman. I have fronted “The Tonight Show” band, sang in the Super Bowl LIV Halftime show, and have made many promotional appearances on Ellen, James Cordon, Good Morning America, The View, Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel, and Conan.
I wrote/produced and released two albums with my band Halo Circus. I have toured with artists such as Kelly Clarkson, Adam Lambert, and Ariana Grande and have done many performances as part of the Rickey Minor band including Kennedy Center Honors, Clive Davis Grammy Party, American Idol (as a BGV) as well as backing other artists. My studio credits range from Nine Inch Nails to KC Porter. I love performing both live and in the studio. I enjoy collaborating and am looking to broaden my horizons as a performer.

I love all kinds of events. My favorites would have to be where people can stand and sit to their choosing and be comfortable. I also really enjoy intimate settings.

Selena, and her ability to touch souls and perform both in Spanish and in English really influenced me. Linda Ronstadt as well. Radiohead for their sound and song writing.. Heart for their range and grit.. I fell in love with Pink when i was 16 because she incorporated soul and rock all in one and i really wanted to do that with my voice and storytelling as an artist. Brenda Lee did a lot for me as well with sadness and telling stories through a musical tone..
