This highly acclaimed string quartet has extensive experience playing chamber music at many types of functions, including weddings, parties, corporate events and recitals.
Although based in London and the Home Counties, the ensemble frequently travels further afield, encompassing the British Isles, most of Europe and even as far as the Caribbean!
Boasting a repertore list of over 300 pieces, the quartet has a broad range of music, covering classical, opera, ragtime, broadway hits and popular songs.
Due to the high standard of playing from the Amalfi String Quartet, recent engagements have included 10 Downing Street, St. James' Palace, all the major London hotels and celebrity parties. They are the string quartet of choice for BBC functions.
The quartet has held many residences, ranging from Whiteleys of Bayswater to top event venues across the Home Counties, being a recommended supplier with numerous repeat bookings and rave reviews.
More recently, the quartet has established a very successful recital programme called "You choose the music" where audience members are treated to a first half themed recital and in the second half of the concert they select the repertoire they would like to hear.
