We need to have a space over about 8 metres x 5 metres for the cellos and piano to fit comfortably.
If you are married in a church and want pipe organ, the church needs to already have a pipe organ. For an outdoor wedding, you will need to have an undercover area for piano and cello in case of rain. There also needs to be one parking space for us at the venue.
Yes, we have our own portable electric piano and cello.
Yes, we’re happy to play music from Spotify before, after and between our sets. We’re happy to choose the music ourselves or let the client choose the music.
Performed music for weddings at St Mary's Cathedral. The acoustics were incredible and it was wonderful to feel part of such a special day.
We love playing at all types of events, but wedding ceremonies and receptions.are our favourite. It's such a joyous occasion.
We started performing while studying at University and in our church. Our performances development from there. Since then we have been frequently performing at weddings and events in Perth.
My favourite artists are J.S Bach and Chopin. The performers I have been mostly inspired by the Brooklyn Duo (husband and wife piano/cello duo) and the Organist ,Josh Stafford. I think the greatest song of all time is Toccata and Fugue in D minor by J.S. Bach and Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen.
Yes, we do wedding rehearsals. We just need to know the date in advance.
We normally arrive about 45 minutes - 1 hour before the performance to set up. There isn't a lot to the set up process, but we like to get there nice and early.
We’re happy to play outside but we ask for shade, a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area.
We can learn specific songs before the event, however, we require 3-4 weeks notice prior to the event. The clients are welcome to pick a set list from our repertoire or let us choose the music for them.
