I love playing at Wedding, Market, and Private events, theres a sense of togetherness and unity I always pick its so beautiful to see and admire.
I Opened up at the rooftop of Radisson Red Cape Town and since then my career has flown, gig after gig.
Tracy Chapman and Erykah Badu as well as Freshly ground, its really hard to pick which ones as I grew up listening to all of their music and being inspired to write my own songs, play guitar and perform in front of a crowd.
I normally arrive an hour or 2 before performance to set up and do soundcheck. I normally perform 2 x 45 minutes or 2 x 60 minute sets. I am happy to play a bit longer or shorter but I’ve found that these set times suit me and my audiences best.
Yes I am happy to perform outside as long as there is a plug in point for sound (if need be) or shade for sunny day.
