Canadian singer Angelica Di Castro began captivating audiences with her powerful and unique voice performing in theaters across the U.S and Canada. Throughout her career, she has released three successful albums with songwriting credits from renowned songwriter/producer David Foster.
Angelica was honored to record an album produced an arranged by renowned producer Craig Leon (Luciano Pavarotti, Ennio Morricone). The mix of heartfelt ballads and uptempo songs offered a hint of the different music styles she would evoke as her career evolved.
With an honors degree in classical voice from York University she has the ability to sing a variety of repertoire from opera, to jazz to pop to rock. Angelica is able to form a deep connection with the words and melodies; as if she lived and crafted each song she conveys.
Following a series of career opportunities, her talent brought her to her first world class achievement performing for the late Pope John Paul II in front of a live crowd of millions of viewers for World Youth Day.
She appeared on a PBS Television special in Las Vegas in front of a sold out crowd at The Venetian. The T.V. special aired on more than 350 T.V stations across North America and enabled her to make a mark as an established singer.
After performing at The Mandalay Bay In Las Vegas, performing as opening act for Cirque Du Soleil, singing the national anthem for The Toronto Raptors, singing on the Jimmy Kimmel Outdoor stage festival, Angelica is primed to bring her talents to a wider audience.
She is versatile in performing songs in English, Italian, Spanish and French. Angelica sings as a soloist and with different ensembles for galas, events and upscale private events.
