Anna is a Belgian based violin player from Russian origin who completed her master in the Royal Conservatory of Gent after studying in Moscow and Jerusalem.
She is experienced in both acoustic and electric violin, appearing on big stages in orchestras or with pop bands and playing in small collaborations for private venues. The past years she applied her academic skills and training to work on projects that make the audience really experience and feel the music during a performance. She is not only a talented violinist who masters both classical and pop/cinematographic music, but also a natural performer with an instinct for what works on stage. What moves people is the combination of a well chosen tracklist and crystal playskills, but also costumes and visuals, cross overs with dance or theatre, ... which add that little element of surprise to people.
Rather than bringing a standard package, Anna has a wide range of musical tastes - who enjoys a cross-over with a Dj as much as a playing in a symphonic orchestra bringing an old masterpiece to life. Apart from having a good ear for music, she also has a good ear for people and what they desire from a musician ... crafting a performance which fits the opportunity and giving it a twist that makes it unique and touching.
In the last years she performed with Antwerp Symphony Orchestra, Cascophil Chamber Orchestra but also performed on stage with Hans Zimmer, Ennio Morricone, Angelique Kidjo, Hooverphonic, Disturbed, ... On top of that she participated in several pop and classical recordings in Belgium, for example with Helmut Lotti, Clouseau, Marble Sounds etc.
