Flamenco guitarist Anoush Saadat (1991) began playing the classical guitar at the age of eight and received his first flamenco guitar lessons when he was thirteen. Three years later he enrolled at the prestigious Cristina Heeren Foundation in Seville. He received lessons from flamenco guitarists Eduardo Rebollar, Paco Cortés, Pedro Sierra and Niño de Pura. At the same institute he began accompanying lessons of singers such as José el de la Tomasa, Julián Estrada, Nazaret Gala or Jeromo Segura. From 2017 onwards he studied at the famous flamenco department of Codarts in Rotterdam with Paco Peña, Ricardo Mendeville, Alexander Gavilán, Irene Álvarez and Arturo Ramón. In 2021, he completed his studies at this conservatory with a Summa Cum Laude.
His debut as a soloist he made in the Picasso Museum in Málaga in 2010. The year after he was awarded the first prize at the Certamen de Jóvenes Flamencos de Sevilla both for his performance as accompanist and soloist. From then on he performed throughout Spain. In 2011 he performed as a soloist at the Lope de Vega Theatre. During this concert he shared the stage with prominent flamenco artists such as Alberto Sellés, Calixto Sánchez, Isabel Bayón, Paco Cortés and Eduardo Rebollar.
Since 2019 Anoush Saadat was very active on the Dutch flamenco scene as a soloist and with his own band Karisma. In addition he was also regularly playing for flamenco dance lessons in Dordrecht, Rijswijk, Rotterdam, Utrecht and Amsterdam. Currently Anoush is residing in Munich (Germany) where he is active as a performer, but also giving workshops, playing for the dance lessons of Sabine Leitner and Gisa Michelón and teaching private guitar lessons. In 2023 he designed and delivered a workshop for musicians at the HfM Nürnberg.
