Ashley Scott, hailing from the vibrant soulful musical city of Philadelphia, PA, stands as a powerhouse vocalist celebrated for his globally chart-topping singles. His 2022 release, “Together,” joins a stellar lineup that includes the soulful ballad “Words” (2016), the infectious groove of “Thought of You” (2021), the dance anthem “Dance The Night Away” (2020), and the international rallying cry, “Don’t Throw Our Love Away” (2021). Ashley’s musical journey began at the age of 3, under the influence of his aunt Helen Scott of The Three Degrees and The Delfonics, shaping his destiny as a genre-defying artist. Ashley has collaborated in the studio with Will Downing and Frank McComb and shared the stage with Eric Roberson, Jean Carn, Bilal, and Take 6.
A pivotal chapter in Ashley’s life unfolded at Howard University, where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Music. Immerse in the world of jazz voice, he studied under legends like Grady Tate, Kehembe Eichelberger, and the late Webster Lewis. Ashley’s talents were showcased in the Howard University Gospel Choir, where he performed alongside gospel greats Edwin and Walter Hawkins, as well as Dorinda Clark of The Clark Sisters. The choir’s notable appearances include a performance for President Bill Clinton at The Department of Agriculture.
With venues like Blues Alley in Washington DC, Joe’s Pub in New York, and City Winery Philadelphia on his resume Ashley Scott is ready to bring his show and style to your city for any occasion

The best gig I ever did was at Blues Alley Jazz club in Washington DC performing a tribute to Philadelphia music with my originals mixed in.
I love performing my originals and my tribute show but I also love weddings and Christmas parties singing the classics that people love and making their event memorable.
I've been performing since I was a child in school talent shows and church choirs which continued through college and in my adult years with 20 years experience in the private sector (weddings, barmitzphas etc). My dream is to take my show abroad to the UK , Japan, and various places in Africa.
I have been most influenced by artists in my family. My aunt is Helen Scott of The Three Degrees (known for "When Will I See You Again") and The Delfonics as well as the big four (Michael Jackson, Prince, Stevie Wonder, and Lionel RIchie. Other influences include Luther Vandross, Will Downing, and every other Motown, Philadelphia, Funk, Disco, and Soul Artist known to the world. I was also influenced by "Soft Rock or now Yacht Rock Artists" like Hall & Oates, The Doobie Brothers/Michael McDonald, Steely Dan, Ambrosia and more.
At the end of the night, I want the audience to feel completely uplifted, energized, and deeply connected to the music and each other. I want them to walk away with a lasting sense of joy, nostalgia, and inspiration—like they’ve just experienced something truly special. Whether it’s through soulful melodies, infectious grooves, or heartfelt lyrics, the goal is to leave them wanting more, talking about the performance for days, and eager to come back for another unforgettable experience.
Our set up time is 3 hours before performance. For private affairs we would do 5 hour events with 45 minutes to an hour sets with breaks. For restaurant and clubs typically 2 shows of original presentations or 3 sets of covers.
Not opposed to outside performances but that is determined by temperature and forecast.
For private affairs clients can have a say or few requests.
Previous clients have described our performances as classy yet, fun, energetic and interactive. We try to make the audience apart of the show by singing and dancing.
