That’s what Ashwin defines DJing. To him listening to Music is Therapy. Hailing from the “Queen of Hills” (Ooty), started exploring music back in High-School and was astonished by the freedom and endless possibilities that it brings. His enthusiasm for music has always been off the charts, as has his desire to share that with those around him. His favourite styles of music revolve around Electronic, House and Hip Hop.
Having grown up playing Hip-Hop tapes in early 2000`s, he trained his skills at Audiotek School of Music, Chennai. His music draws influence from Skrillex, Nucleya and Shiba San. He enjoyed his gigs at WXYZ Bar, Aloft Hotel Bengaluru and looking forward for playing at Nightclubs, Special Events and DJ residencies. Besides DJing he also produces music and would love to play his own tracks and mixes at international festivals someday.
“For me, it’s all about exploring innovative sounds in divergent genres, and savour each event to the brimming, because encountering people tapping their feet and nodding their head without you realizing it is by virtue that brings me the adrenaline rush”.
