Astella formed in 2010, specialising in being a high-quality wedding and function band. The band consists of full-time professional musicians that have worked alongside the likes of Rachel Stevens, McFly, Girls Aloud, Sugababes, The Scorpions, Billie Cobham, The Specials and Robert Plant, to name a few. Members of the band have also taken part in extensive US and European tours and have played in venues such as the Shepherds Bush Empire, the Amsterdam Arena, and the Ricoh Arena. They won "Wedding Band Of The Year" in 2010 and 2012, awarded by My Quirky Little Wedding Fair.
Astella will make any event a memorable one, with a repertoire full of modern and party classics. Covering songs from Jessie J, Pharrell Williams and Bruno Mars to Aretha Franklin, Van Halen and The Doobie Brothers, the dance floor is guaranteed to be full from start to finish. Astella have an extensive and versatile setlist to suit a varied audience on any occasion.
