Athil Hamdan graduated as a Master of Science, M.Sc ., in musicology and cello class with Prof. P. Kupin of the Odessa National Conservatory in 1995. He played with many orchestras, including in Egypt, Jordan, Russia, Belgium and with the International Youth Orchestra under the direction of Claudio Abaddo.
He has also given many concerts as a solo artist in various houses and many countries, such as France, Italy, Russia, Ukraine, Armenia, Belgium, Germany with the Rundfunk Köln orchestra and Kammersymphonie orchestra Berlin , Spain, Greece, Turkey, the USA with the UC La Symphony Orchestra , Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco and Egypt.
