Duo Baião de Duas is Aninha Paschoal (vocals and percussion) and Kadija Teles (piano andvocals). The project aims and hopes to present the music through the rhythmic and "percussiveness" of the piano, complemented by singing and some percussion instruments typical oftraditional Brazilian music, such as zabumba, pandeiro and triangle. With this format, the artists seek to explore the repertoire of the mostdifferent regions of Brazil that are connected to the music of African matrix, from the samba de roda, ijexá and baião, to the maracatu, the tambor mineiro, among others. The songs are adapted and arranged by the duo itself, whose interest is to imprint its authentic musical identityin its repertoire, as well as to spread Brazilian music through a new interpretative view. The result is a concert that invites the audience to a true journey through Brazil through notes, melodies, rhythm, sensitivityand many colors and flavors.
