La Bandissima!
Our repertoire consists of our own original compositions on free structures.
In each of our concerts, we have always invited a guest musician to play with us, musicians with whom we had never set foot in the rehearsal room, but the result of these collaborations has always been surprisingly beautifull. Our intention is to continue in this way, open to the unpredictable.
The trio is based in Berlin, a noir, dark and poetic city from whose darkness unexpected encounters and extravaganzas arise.
The name of the group, in fact, was suggested to us by one of these characters who appeared from nowhere, only to disappear dancing in the night.
Our music is inspired by this, our sound is like images from a film noir: mysterious, sensual, dark, sometimes wild and sexy.
We are like the Little Match Seller from the fairy tale, who in the freezing nights of the capital, lights up dreams. Each of our pieces, is like the flame released from one of its matches, a dreamlike light that suddenly illuminates the darkness of metropolitan nights.
The Bandissima! consists of Florian Seefeldt on clarinet, Elia Baioni on bass and Alessandro Lizà Rizzato on drums; a Berliner and two Italians for a sound that seeks and searches, in the tireless pace of an ever-evolving great capital.
