Beans Sousa, started his professional music career in and around the community of Santa Cruz California. . In 1974, Sousa helped form the popular California Coast band, FLY BY NIGHT. This group of talented stage and studio musicians recorded several albums for Leon Russell's Shelter Records, including two vinyl record albums by local Salinas songwriter Larry Hosford. In 1980 and for 20 years, Beans Sousa toured as an opening act and side musician for Lacy J. Dalton and is presently touring The West as a featured artist. As a studio musician, Duane "Beans" Sousa's name appears on many albums alongside such notables as George Harrison, Charlie Daniels, Leon Russell, Charlie McCoy, Byron Berline and many more. Former Vocalist and Guitarist for County Singer Lacy J. Dalton for 20 years and has performed in 5 countries and 49 of the 50 states.
