Beatrix Milán, singer (soprano), received her primary and secondary education in music in Hungary. She continued her vocal studies in the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna and attained a Bachelors Degree in Classical Voice Pedagogy in the University of Mozarteum Salzburg. Since living in Scotland she has been involved in several opera projects with the Edinburgh based opera company "Three Bridges Festival". Past performances include the soprano solo in Beethoven’s 9th symphony, the Vivaldi Gloria, the lead role in Bellini’s La Sonnambula, the role of the Countess in Mozart's "Le nozze di Figaro", and the contemporary project called “The pleasure of expense” by Jasmina Cibic in association with Creative Scotland.
Currently she lives in Edinburgh where she collaborates with different musical formations, performing opera arias and classical art songs in concerts. At private functions she also sings jazz standards and musical numbers according to demand.
