Formerly of an Ital-Canadian dance band called ‘ GALAXY ‘ from 1978 to 2000, Umberto (oom – bear – toe) Cerminara (chair – mee – narah) has being performing as a solo Minstrel-style Strolling Accordionist since March 2001 under the trade style of " La Musica di Umberto". He specializes in Italian, European, Latin, & Adult contemporary favorites, Umberto.has had the honor of playing with recording artists & local musicians, for political dignitaries, and at various Edmonton promotional events & restaurants. He iattributes his success to the support of numerous individuals & corporate entities in the Edmonton, Alberta, Canada region and most specifically of city's Italian Community.
