I started out playing Blues in highschool with my sister Emma. We played along the Murray River and performed at many venues throughout Echuca & Moama. I've played in bands, duos and tribute shows. I now reside just outside Bendigo and have been performing at various venues across Victoria and loving it! I have also taught music at schools, colleges and privately.
I cannot decide on just one artist or song; I love a diverse range of music. My early influences were definitely, The Beatles, Chet Atkins, Eric Clapton and BB King. These days I listen and play almost any song that sounds good or that someone requests.
I usually arrive 1-2 hours before the performance to set up. I normally perform 2 x 50-minute sets or 3 x 50-minute sets. I'm more than happy to play a bit longer or shorter, these times seem to suit most venues and times set by them.
Yes, I do appreciate some kind of shade to protect myself and my equipment when performing outdoors.
Yes I love working with clients to come up with the perfect match for their needs. I really thrive on arranging new songs and I almost always change up my set lists for each and every gig!
