We were walking to the house of one of the many musicians with whom this project was trying to see the light, it's about to rain because the summer is ending.
Anna Matlová told me about her connection with the Andean music, she told me about the cassettes that she collect from the many Peruvian and Bolivian musicians who landed in Czechoslovakia during the 80's. Musician with whom even now we are spending a great time.
Anna told me how throughout her career the desire to play this music was growing until it became undeniable.
Step by step we meet the friends who make this dream possible, they are coming with their own influences and legitimise curiosity for the expression of the south of the world.
Until now we explored zamba from Argentina , waltz on the Peruvian style, carnavalitos from Bolivia and cumbias from Colombia always looking for our personal sound. I truly believe that this project is an expression of love and musical openness.
