Sound system.
Size and type of event.
I have small sound system
Yes.
Years ago I performed with my group Elbowed Out. We performed in Vancouver BC, Calgary, Winnipeg, Toronto, Montreal. Tokyo, Phoenix and Los Angeles.
Soft or background music, in which I blow saxophone to Motown, Celine Dion, Nat Cole, EWF, and many others.
I have performed all my life, spent 34 years as a music band, choir director. Since retiring I have been trying to find my niche by recording evert song I can afford.
As Big Sam blues, I use a 3 member group. I play piano and bass, and have a guitarist and drummer.
As Sam Chambliss, I perform covers on Tenor Sax, usually Love songs or Jazz.
I am able to perform as either blues or just saxophone. Sometimes outside calls for a larger sound system.
Clients always have a say, just as long as they don't require me to learn a lot of special songs. I aim to please.
I am just getting started.
Big Sam blues will perform at the Sand Dollar on June 8th 6-9. Just getting started.
Palm Springs Fest.
