Black Sevens Band Bio

Black Sevens is a Baltimore/DC area-based band that plays a mix of covers and originals influenced by British Rock, Post Punk, Indie, and Alternative rock from the 1970s to the 2000s. Black Sevens plays music that showcases our influences yet appeals to a broad group of listeners. For our setlist, we've selected well-known but not overdone songs.

Black Seven was initially formed in 2007 but disbanded in 2008 after Paris moved to Missouri due to his obligation to the Army. In the Fall of 2018, Black Sevens reformed with a new lineup and performed locally until February 2020, when the pandemic forced us to stop performing in public. During that time, Black Sevens went through some personnel changes and worked on music until we could go back to performing live. Beginning in September 2022, with our current lineup settled, we are beginning to perform publicly again.

Tami Raistrick - Locals

Tami has been with Black Sevens since 2019. Her influences are Paramore, Grace Potter, and other alternative and rock singers. Tami graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Theatre degree focused on Musical Theatre. She has performed on stage in choir groups, madrigals, musicals, and Shakespeare since she was a child.

Paris Thalheimer - Lead Guitar

Paris has been playing for more than 30 years. His influences are Andy Summers (The Police), The Foo Fighters, Eric Clapton, Buddy Guy, Albert King, Freddie King, Ian Thornely (Big Wreck), and many others. Paris has played with several bands, including Blue Seoul (Blues & Classic Rock), Merge (British 80s), Geezer (Classic & Progressive Rock), Stone Sunrise (on bass, performing Classic & Jam band rock), a go-to musician at various churches (guitar and bass, modern Christian music), and The Deep Easy (Blues).

Dan Bradley – Bass/Vocals

Dan has played bass for over twenty years with various punk, rock, and metal bands, including Dayan, Plugnugget, and The Only. His influences are The Police, The Misfits, The Pixies, Alice in Chains, Metallica, Peter Murphy, and the Damned.

Scott Stack - Drums

The latest member of Black Seven, Scott, has been playing the drums for twenty years, beginning in high school. Black Sevens is his first rock band. Scott's influences are The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Foo Fighters, Paramore, and the Lake Street Dive.
