Black Sevens Band Bio
Black Sevens is a Baltimore/DC area-based band that plays a mix of covers and originals influenced by British Rock, Post Punk, Indie, and Alternative rock from the 1970s to the 2000s. Black Sevens plays music that showcases our influences yet appeals to a broad group of listeners. For our setlist, we've selected well-known but not overdone songs.
Black Seven was initially formed in 2007 but disbanded in 2008 after Paris moved to Missouri due to his obligation to the Army. In the Fall of 2018, Black Sevens reformed with a new lineup and performed locally until February 2020, when the pandemic forced us to stop performing in public. During that time, Black Sevens went through some personnel changes and worked on music until we could go back to performing live. Beginning in September 2022, with our current lineup settled, we are beginning to perform publicly again.
