Danny Godfrey, music organiser for the Queen's College (Cambridge) May Ball wrote; "Blag's music was irresistibly danceable. Their energetic and extremely skilled performance created a highly festive air. Their interpretations of folk music were as original as it was entertaining. We are influenced by music from all over the world.
We normally arrive 1 hour before the performance to set up. We normally perform 2 x 55 minutes sets. We’re happy to play a bit longer or shorter but we’ve found that these set times suit us and our audiences best.
We can play outside, but we do need cover for our equipment in case it rains. In the UK at least!
Sometimes we will learn a new song for an event if we think it will work well with our line up.
Previous customers would describe us as a high energy group that loves to get the audience on their feet dancing
