Nino e Viola is a duo formed by a Brazilian guitarist and an Italian singer.
If you're looking for an elegant atmosphere, then this duo is the right choice: jazz and bossa nova are the mainstays of their repertoire. However, other Brazilian rhythms are also present, so elegance is combined with an irresistible swing: samba, MPB, forró for the bravest! But also international hits and the bride and groom to be requests!
Nino's ability to keep the bass line while playing guitar gives his style a replenished touch that makes the difference between him and other guitarists.
Viola is a polyglot, so don't be afraid to ask for songs in Portuguese, English, Italian, Spanish and French.
The basic formation for their service is duo, but if you feel you need a percussion boost, consider asking about trio performance.

We need 2 stools away from intense climate conditions (strong sunlight, rain, strong wind) and 1 power socket.
If there are any specific requests as to the place we'll play, please let us know.
We do provide our own amplifiers and mixer when needed. We don't have our own lighting.
We can provide addless Spotify service in our intervals.
One wedding, in 2022. We gave our best with Jazz and Bossa in the first set and Samba and Axé in the second set. People were dancing and having a great time, and we were part of their joy. The bride and groom had their forst dance with us playing, it was so uplifting!
It's been in Ourém, in a beautiful portuguese quinta.
Weddings and stage concerts!
We started gigging a few years ago, before that we were involved in different projects. Nino Costa was a renowned guitarist in Brazil (Natal), while Viola's been a student of Amélia Rabello's course at EPM in Rio de Janeiro. Since we started playing together, it's been hundreds of weddings, private and public events and hotels.
We're respectively influenced by Elis Regina and Ella Fitzgerald (Viola) and Hélio Delmiro and Joe Pass (Nino).
We usually do 2 sets:

Yes, sure, but please mind that we are protected from sun, rain and wind as best as possible. And that power sockets are available.
Sure, they have a say! We only ask that they mkae their request in advance, and that it be a reasonable amount of songs. We suggest they get in contact with us to check the setlist, and then suggest what they'd like us to play.
