Break Out are a Bradford based four piece band playing a variety of rock covers from the classic eras through to more modern tracks. Brought together by a shared passion for performing quality rock music and the desire to offer a great evening's entertainment, Break Out who formed in 2010, have established a reputation as a professional, entertaining, highly accomplished rock band.
Each individual is a talented musician in their own right and as a whole they bring a new dimension to the cover scene. Break Out can be faithful to the spirit of the original, or bring their own interpretation and unique twist to a classic, but they always deliver and rise to any occasion.
The bands that Break Out cover are many and varied and embrace a wide range of rock, from classics by Deep Purple and Free, through 80s superbands such as Van Halen and Whitesnake, AOR masters like Toto and modern greats including the Stereophonics, The Killers and Muse.
The recent pandemic has seen the band return to writing original songs in the absence of live music. To date two songs have been recorded and released during the lockdowns: Outbreak and The Storm, with more to follow. They have been very well received and have been played on local radio stations and shared by fans of the band.
Whatever your taste in quality melodic rock, Break Out hit the right notes and they always aim to deliver a high standard of performance, honed by years of playing and performing as individuals and as members of a variety of successful bands. Be sure to check out one of their shows if you are serious about enjoying your rock!

ACCESS TO VENUE
You agree to inform us if the playing space is not located on the ground floor or special access is required to allow us a longer set up/break down period for our equipment.
DURATION OF PERFORMANCE
Unless otherwise agreed in advance, the performance shall normally consist of two sets of 45-75 minutes duration separated by a break of typically half an hour.
Where you require additional performance time not previously agreed, this shall be at our sole discretion and shall be chargeable at a rate to be agreed at the time.
STAGING REQUIREMENTS
Minimum stage area approx 5m wide and 3m deep. Smaller stage areas can be accommodated but please contact us first.
We do not perform at venues that operate any type of sound limiter that can cut power to the stage area. Sudden loss of power to our equipment can cause permanent damage and will be charged to the client in the event that any damage or replacement is required. If a sound limiter is found to be in use at the venue when we arrive we reserve the right to withdraw from the event and payment will be made to the band in full.
Please believe us that we are very experienced at what we do and sound limiters can be activated by a single hit of a drum. Also if the audience are singing along, this can add to the volume and cause the sound limiter to cut power to the stage too. We want to make sure you have the best entertainment possible and if a venue uses a sound limiter then a rock band is probably not the best choice for that venue.
LICENSES, INSURANCE & CERTIFICATES
You agree that you have the necessary licenses, insurance and certificates for us to perform including but not limited to:
- An up-to-date fire certificate for the venue;
- A premises, personal or event license permitting our live performance;
- Performing rights licence;
- Public performance licence;
- Public liability insurance;
- Employers liability insurance.
It is the responsibility of the band to hold appropriate public or personal liability insurance.
HEALTH AND SAFETY
You agree that it is the your responsibility to ensure the venue is safe for us, your clients, management and staff and, to notify us of safety procedures applicable at the venue on or before our arrival.
You also agree to provide the following:
- Suitably earthed single phase electricity supplies that will not endanger our safety or damage our equipment and, incorporate RCD's (residual current devices) that have been subject to regular safety inspections as required by law.
- A double or two single sockets nearby are required plus at least one double or two single sockets on a separate ring main for lighting (where appropriate). In some cases (usually where we are required to install more than the minimum lighting system) more power than the aforementioned two separate circuits may be required.
- A safe place for the transportation, setting up and operation of the equipment including, but not limited to, a stage or floor space that is flat, non-slip, free from dirt, debris and liquids and capable of safely supporting us and our equipment and, clear access to the stage or floor space from outside the venue.
- Safe equipment provided by you at the venue (where applicable) including, but not limited to, fireproof stage curtains, lighting and lighting stands or gantries and, PA amplification that is connected to a supply that is protected by an RCD (residual current device).
We maintain, inspect, test and operate our equipment to ensure the safety of ourselves, the venue and its management, staff, artists, external crew and clients.
If an external power generator is to power the premises (for example external marquee) please contact us first to discuss requirements.
DELAY, INTERRUPTION OR SUSPENSION OF PERFORMANCE
In the unlikely event that the performance is delayed, curtailed or stopped due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to:
- equipment failure, power failure, noise limiters, time restrictions, venue's staff absence, smoke detector activation, closure of the venue by police, fire brigade or other public authority or, licensing/certification problems, you agree to pay the fee in full.
INDEMNITY
You agree that you will fully indemnify us for damage, loss or confiscation of our equipment or instruments on your premises resulting from any act or omission on your part or, failure to comply with these terms and conditions.
ADDITIONALLY
We shall not be liable for any injury or damage arising from touching or attempted use of our equipment authorised or otherwise, by the venue's management, staff, artists, external crew or clients.
You agree that you are responsible for the conduct of your clients, staff, and guests.
If at any time during the event, we consider that our equipment or ourselves to be under threat, verbally or physically, we reserve the right to terminate the contract without notice.
You agree that the full fee shall be payable to us in these circumstances.
We are a live band with real instruments and although we play at sensible volumes we are not suitable for background music or if guests wish to talk to each other when close to the stage area. If you wish to sing along and dance then the closer the better!!!
1.5 - 2.5 hrs setup time including sound check. Sound checks need to be done with no guests in attendance unless it is a public performance. Setup times are dictated by size of lighting system used. This will be discussed at the outset.
1.5 - 2 hrs is required to pack our equipment away and move it to our vehicles. A clear route out of the venue will be required so not to be a hindrance to any guests. This must be a safe passage with no access to guests so we are sure no-one is injured during our load out. Some of the equipment we is very heavy and we want to ensure the safety of everyone in attendance. Sometimes, guests who have had a drink or two can create barriers to us safely removing equipment. If a safe, guest-free path cannot be arranged, the client will take full responsibility for anyone, including the band and crew, are injured. The band take every precaution to avoid injuries, but cannot be guaranteed when guests create a challenging exit route.
