Born and raised on the mean streets of Sintra/Portugal, Ricardo Santos , AKA Brosi da Hey, started his musical journey when he was 11, when he discovered a House record collection belonging to his brother 4 Da People.
It was at this moment that Ricardo Santos knew he wanted to be part of 'The Scene'.
He first became interested in the electronic music scene in 1992. In 1995, aged 14, his brother bought him his first set of decks.
And since that time he has been introducing himself to the production area. perfecting the way it expresses itself on the dance floor .
He did various warm up sets in clubs hosting major names such as Mario Roque, Luis Leite, Barem ,Spiritual Mates and many more., he achieved his big break when he succeeded in collecting every release in Grey City Records back catalogue, which caught the attention of Portuguese music industry It was after this point when he started getting gigs at events such as Freakuency 2ndMovement and Music Speaks.
After receiving several offers, Brosi da Hey created B2Simple Records, who helped distribute his first internet release, 'Way Back' in 2017. Though the single didn't sell as many as he probably would have liked, Brosi da Hey is a fighter and since 2018 has been locked in the studio perfecting his craft.
In 2019 he launched the WE/AT Music movement in which he has been inviting several artists from the eletronic music scene of Portugal, to share their sets on WE/AT Music pages ,trying in this way to help promote their work around the world.
