I have performed at weddings which is always nice to be part of someone's special event.

My favourite type of event is to be the ambient instrumental (cocktail) piano player, although I really do like playing and singing Billy Joel, Elton John and those types of singing piano players.

I started learning and playing classical piano as a child. In my teens I was the organist at a small church in Shannonville, I was trained to be a piano teacher at Arden's Music in Belleville Ontario, and started playing classic rock piano and organ in bars and restaurants with 4 and 5 piece bands.

I love learning and playing J.S. Bach, Beethoven and Chopin. When I feel like "rockin' out" I love Elton John, Billy Joel and Burton Cummings.
My favourite artist is Elton John, and the greatest song of all time is Glamour Boy by Burton Cummings.

Since I play different types of events, there is no typical set up and performance times. I have played ambient instrumental piano where all I need to do is show up and sit down at the provided piano, but if I have to bring my own gear, set up time could be around an hour to two hours.
I am happy to play as little or as much is asked of me. I have played at wedding ceremonies where my contribution was only 3 pieces during the ceremony, but I'm also capable of playing up to four 45 minute sets with 15 minute breaks in between each.
