"Cabeças de Gado" (Cattle Heads) are a Rock´n´Roll band, with original themes in Portuguese, and some covers in English.
This band was founded in 1988, and performed on emblematic stages in Portugal like (Coliseu do Porto, Teatro Sá da Bandeira, Pavilhão Infante Sagres, Palácio de Cristal, Cais 447, Zona +, Johnny Guitar), becoming winners of the "1st Band Festival de Rock de Matosinhos", in 1992.
They performed from North to South, coast to coast of Portugal - Braga, Ponte da Barca, Porto, Ovar, Pombal, Termas de S. Vicente, São Pedro de Moel, Vieira de Leiria, Lisbon, Salir, etc., and have been invited to play at several Motard Concentrations and Motocicle Party's (Vila do Conde, Covilhã, Santarém, Oiã, Paços de Ferreira).
They have done first parts / opening concerts for some mainstream bands, such as “Os Sitiados”, “Entre Aspas”, “Xutos e Pontapés”, “Quim Barreiros”, and were also part of the 1995 "Portugal Rockers" Rock and Roll compilation.
Last 11th November, returned to Hard Club in Oporto City, to celebrate 35 years of their initial formation.
