About / Biography

Carl Stuck is an American singer/songwriter, musician, and producer hailing from Louisville, Ky. Throughout his teens and 20s Stuck toured extensively, primarily as a lead guitarist, opening for such headlining acts as REO Speedwagon, The Tubes, and others.

Returning home to pursue a degree in Philosophy, Stuck continued performing in local venues and began to focus his attention on singing and songwriting in addition to his guitar playing. For years a staple on the Louisville music scene he is currently involved in multiple musical projects including the solo acoustic based project under his own name and a rock project called Splintered Mind with fellow Louisvillian Phil Bright. He has also used his guitar, bass, mandolin, and percussion skills as a live player playing alongside national artists as diverse as Randy Owen of country supergroup Alabama, members of Poison, Warrant, Night Ranger and others as well as for Louisville original acts such as the electronic Velvet Saints, the alternative Ultratone, and the country Bryan Fox Band. He can also be seen regularly playing with several Louisville favorites, including FULL CONTACT and STRUMBEAT among others.
