Casado, a delightful duo that prides itself on providing a carefully tailored and highly professional experience for you and your guests, based in Birmingham but available throughout the UK.
Casado offers considerable flexibility using a number of instruments including tenor sax, alto sax, soprano sax, clarinet, flute and violin, blending beautifully with either jazz guitar, acoustic guitar or classical guitar. These combinations enable us to perform music from a wide range of genres and styles including; dinner jazz, classical, light pop, Latin jazz, ragtime, gypsy jazz and Celtic jigs and reels. This diversity of styles makes Casado the ideal choice for an equally wide range of venues and settings including weddings, wine bars, garden parties, house parties, corporate and outdoor events, all planned to suit your needs in collaboration with you. We always dress to suit your occasion to provide the right atmosphere and only use high quality instruments and equipment.
The trio adds a bass guitar to the line-up and the quartet includes a drummer/percussionist, these open up an even wider range of styles and add a different feel to your event.

Yes, we use the top of the range Bose PA system, crystal clear but unobtrusive . We can also provide lighting if required.
We are happy to provide background music before, after and between our sets.
Perhaps the most prestigious to date is the International Conference Centre in Birmingham to 500 people, but all our gigs are special really.
That's a tough one! All events are so different and after many years and many gigs we still love to play regardless of the event type. We have played for all sorts of different events and special occasions so it is very difficult to choose favourites. As long as our clients are happy with our music that is what makes the best gigs.
We have been in the music business for many years and played all over the country in many different genres. We actually met in a big band but for more than 10 years we have worked as Casado playing Smooth Jazz, Latin, pop, swing, Celtic and much more. We play to many different audiences from weddings to corporate launches. Casado also perfect for garden parties and smaller celebrations.
Our set list has well over 300 pieces and spans 8 decades and many genres. We chose to do this from the beginning and it was the right decision, clients compliment Casado for being able to please just about everyone!
Setup is approximately 60 minutes
Standard performance is 2 x 45 minutes - we are happy to be flexible around timings.
Yes, all we need is a 13 amp socket and shade on very hot days and and cover for rainy days.
Yes, clients can specify certain songs from our set list and we are happy to prepare a special song if we can locate the music. Our experience has meant we are adept at ‘reading’ the audience too.
The most frequent comments are related to our musical diversity from Latin, to pop songs, well known ballads and much more. We can play a set of Celtic foot tapping music and then to Smooth Jazz and swing in a minute.
Yes, we don’t use backing tracks. Everything we play is live and all the videos and audio tracks you can hear are played live too so you can be sure of the way we sound.
