A Swinging R & B Band for your Function, Wedding, Festival, Club or Bar. The Band are rapidly becoming one of the premier function and Club Bands in the Dorset, Wiltshire, Hampshire, Devon, Cornwall and Somerset regions. Our swinging & rocking style ensures your guests will want to dance. You will be surprised how much band you can get for your money. Why book a Covers Band when you can book great musicians playing great R&B Music, By The Blues Brothers, Van Morrison, Georgie Fame, and Zoot Money, with additional music to your choice?
Drummer Charlie Farran & his band play great Rhythm & Blues music with an emphasis on the dancing, jazzier swinging style of rhythm & blues music, taking Charlie back to his roots with the sounds of Georgie Fame, Mose Alison and Van Morrison. Other styles of blues music played by the band include numbers by Little Walter, Jimmy Witherspoon, T-Bone Walker, Robert Clay, Ray Charles and The Climax Blues Band to name but a few.
The band are always dressed to suit the occasion, suits usually, but if you want it more relaxed, that fine. We use a state of the art sound system, which can be used by our clients to play their own music through during band breaks
