Edward Murphy (aka Chris Daniels.) first touched his hand to a turntable at the tender age of 14 and hasn’t looked back since. After polishing his craft for six long years, he had his first gig at the late Elixr Ultra Lounge at the turn of the millenium and has continued to pound the hard pavement known as the Jacksonville music scene.
What started as funky house played from Gemini belt-driven decks in his bedroom at his parents’ house picked up speed as Edward added both trance and drum n’ bass to his repertoire. As time pressed on, Edward refined his tastes in progressive, house,and techno, and uses them all in intricately composed sets designed to get the masses moving. Seamless transitions and wide library of tracks are just a few of the staples that makes Edwards' style unique and sought-after.
He has also began putting his hands on mashups. From Artists such as Laidback Luke,Arty,Qulinez,Wolfgang Gartner, and more.
Venues lucky enough to be rocked by Chris. himself include Tera Nova (now Pure),Club O,TSi,which are all located right here in Jacksonville Florida. As well as The Electric Ballroom in Knoxville,TN and The Social in Ybor City,Tampa,FL.
