Chris Dodd is an award-winning close-up magician and sleight of hand artist specialising in close-up magic. Chris has performed for over twenty years at exciting, luxury events around the world, in both large and more intimate settings.
As a Member of the world-famous The Magic Circle, you and your guests will be in good company, better yet, they will be in the company of a man who can make the impossible happen!

Chris plays the contemporary master of ceremonies who will welcome your guests, introduce the keys stages of your day, and make sure that guests of honour are in the right place at the right time – fetching the father of the bride from the bar before his speech!

Chris has performed for a whole range of companies, from small, local businesses to international behemoths of organisations. Whichever type of business gathering you are holding, there will surely be space for some elegant entertainment from a Member of The Magic Circle.
Chris has been hired by companies for fun entertainment at the end of a meeting, for groups as small as 6 people!
At your cocktail or champagne event, Chris will weave between your guests and colleagues entertaining them to create connections between important clients to ensure that your company is seen as one with which to do business.
If your event is of a larger scale, a gala dinner or product launch for example, Chris offers an after dinner show, or perhaps between courses. A fifteen minute show that will have the whole room laughing and stunned with wonder at the magic they have just witnessed.
Charities have also booked Chris to perform at their fundraising galas because top entertainment tends to encourage more generous spending at the auction or donation part of the event. Chris performs magic with borrowed money – coins, notes, bankcards, and cheques – once they have their money out, it reminds guests that they are there to donate.
Chris’s warm persona is welcomed by people from all echelons of society, and so he is as confident performing at a Fortune 500 event or a local accounting firm’s Christmas party.

Yes.
I performed on a yacht for a royal family. They were wholly wonderful. There was another show I performed on a beach in the Caribbean, for a birthday party. My backdrop was the sea.
I love to perform at all events. Meeting new people of all types is one of my favourite things in life.
For close-up magic, I arrive ready to perform. I will need a place to store my prop bag, with regular access.
For my cabaret or after-dinner, I will arrive early to work with the AV team to ensure the show looks as wonderful as possible.
Yes. I love an outside event. I even performed in wellington boots, with someone holding an umbrella for me!
I have my main repertoire, but style or theme requests can be accommadated with notice.
