Cordes Nomades is a dynamic and experienced gypsy jazz band based in Montpellier.
We offer a variety of musical formats, ranging from a guitar duo perfect for an intimate atmosphere, to a trio with two guitarists and a double bass player, reflecting the tradition of Django Reinhardt's gypsy jazz. Our quartet comes in two versions: one with a saxophonist, expanding our range to American jazz standards and French chanson, and the other featuring vocalist Lucy Bely, whose energetic interpretation of classic gypsy and American jazz is enhanced by her talent for Scat singing.

We usually arrive 1.5 hours in advance and then perform sets of 45 minutes. We can also adapt, such as playing briefly for a wedding ceremony then continuing for the cocktail hour, lending a microphone for a speech, playing MP3s, etc. Our goal is to adapt to your event.
Yes, we can play outdoors, no problem.
