About / Biography

Christophe Moriano is an Alto and Tenor Saxophonist , Arranger and Composer currently based in Dubai UAE & Nice, France.

Heavily influenced by 70s rock icons Supertramp and Pink Floyd, he plays jazz, blues, funk and has been experimenting with a lot of musical styles.

Chris is actively doing solo performances around the French riviera and Dubai providing music for cocktails, weddings, corporate events and other special occasions. He counts playing for Prince Rainier of Monaco as one of his most memorable receptions.

He travels frequently to Dubai, and has done several collaborations with talented Dubai-based

Technical Info

What are your basic technical requirements?

Sound system is needed.
Working with your/venue sound system: all I need is 2 imput lines, and electrical sockets nearby.

What information do you require about a venue?

If they are not sure about how is their equipment there, I will ask to see some pics of what they have.

Do you provide sound and lighting equipment?

Yes, for a fee.

Can you provide a Spotify/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes, I can leave background music playing. But I don't really do DJ

Starting playing gigs for wedding 30 years ago I also play in several bands as Call me winston a tarantino tribute dedicated to the movies songs

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

I normally arrive 2 hours before the performance to set up. 1 normally perform 2 x 45 minutes or 2 x 60 minute sets. I am happy to play a bit longer or shorter but we’ve found that these set times suit us and our audiences best."

Are you happy to perform outside?

Yes i really like to be outside

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

I can learn specific songs before the event but I usually limit this to 5 songs. The clients are welcome to pick a set list from our repertoire or let mes choose the music for them.

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

Chris set our cocktail hour on fire! We received nothing but compliments on this beautiful performance that set the tone and ambiance for the evening ahead.
