My name is Carolina Peña, and I am a professional jazz singer.
My repertoire encompasses vocal jazz classics with major influence of Ella Fitzgerald, Carmen McRae and Sarah Vaughan, alongisde Bossa-nova Standards & Latin genres including boleros, pasillos, son, and valses. Over the past two years in The Netherlands, I've had the privilege to perform alongside various renowned musicians and bands across multiple venues.
With substantial experience as a professional vocalist, I've performed at weddings, corporate events, and provided ambient background music adapted to client preferences, consistently achieving success and positive feedback. I am the lead vocalist of the "Hi-Fly Jazz Quintet." With this ensemble we regularly perform at professional events and engagements. We performed at Studio 150 in Bethlehemkerk, Amsterdam. We won the Amarte funds, and we had a live concert + recording session in this beautiful historic church in Amsterdam.
I love playing at all sorts of events, but Restaurants and Weddings are my favorite. I love to make people feel warm, comfortable and happy with the music.
I have performed for more than 5 years at gigs. Since my arrival on the Netherlands, 3 years ago, I've performing constantly around The Hague, The Netherlands and Europe. My work is consistent and professional, for which I've performed in many events.

Ella Fitzgerald is my favorite singer, and my biggest influence.
We arrive 1.5 hours before the performance to set up and have everything ready. The dress code is always elegant, I usually wear with long colorful dresses, but depends on the event.
We are happy to perform outside. We just need a close power supply and an alternative location if it starts raining.
Clients always have a say in the repertoire. I usually contact the client and we have a look to the proposed repertoire. Then we set a final repertoire list.
I have a great success story with my clients over the past three years in The Netherlands. My clients had been very positive with the high energy vibe, and the jazz/latin music.
