Our purpose is to provide professional sound reinforcement and quality mixing in the field of Live Stage Performances and Recordings. With over 30 years of experience in both Sound Engineering and Technical Audio applications. D.Y is a stage setup and performance improvement technician with the ability to repair and service electronics to board and component level. A friendly engineer with a “can-do” attitude with plenty of technical experience to get the job done right the first time.
My professional skills come from a lifetime of experiences and knowledge. I started writing music at the age of 9. I now play 6 different instruments. I have a strong background in electronics and repair. I worked as the film and tape manager in three different television stations for 8 years (KADY – Oxnard, KEYT – Santa Barbara and E! TV in Los Angeles). I served as the Safety and Environmental Specialist Assistant at Southern California Edison. I later became the Station Administrative Accounting Clerk. I worked in the accounting field until I joined the United States Navy. Once I returned from my deployment in Afghanistan, I worked in the field of Government Contracting as a GSA Database Administrator.
I've mixed shows for Tom Brown, Evelyn Champaign King, Klymaxx, Color Me Bad, Lao Tizer Band, Bobby Watley, Second II None, DJ Quik, Rodney O, Oscar L Snow, Del Franklin, Groove Persona, Rodney Lee, Suzy Carr (Will to Power) and many other from the Oxnard Jazz Festival.
