Dan specialises in both upbeat DJ Live Sax and relaxed background music. With a first-class degree in music, Dan loves bringing his expertise and dynamic atmosphere to events across the UK and abroad.
Dan can often be found on the dancefloor of corporate events, weddings and festivals with his iconic LED saxophone and wireless microphone, allowing him to interact with the crowd and keep people dancing all night! Dan can play alongside any DJ, or jam along to his favourite playlist through his PA system.
Having trained at the Royal Northern College of Music, Dan also is an accomplished jazz musician, and loves to provide chilled yet engaging background music at restaurants, hotels and venues. Much of his repertoire includes jazz standards, pop covers and chilled Ibiza tunes, but Dan also loves to take requests. Dan can perform alongside high-quality backing tracks, or with a live pianist in his duo – the Spark Duo.
Dan has a variety of setups available, all aimed at creating the perfect soundtrack to your event:
• DJ Live Sax: Upbeat Ibiza Saxophone hits for the dancefloor. Also available with percussion/bongo player.
• Background saxophone: pop covers, jazz ballads and love songs played on the sax alongside high quality backing tracks through a professional PA system. Also available with pianist as ‘The Spark Duo’.
• The Countymen Party Band: All the party classics led by a professional 4-piece band (vocals/guitar, drums, bass, sax)

I can operate entirely wireless and battery powered when needed. Whilst I require very little space to perform if necessary, if I am using a speaker on a stand, I need 2x2m for my PA speaker and a space to stand.

Yes, I'm completely self-contained with my sound system.
I provide a playlist service as soon as my speakers are set up, and I can continue to provide this service after my performances for an additional fee.
I love playing at festivals, having performed in France, Italy, Belgium, Spain and Slovakia, as well as venues closer to home such as Manchester's Victoria Warehouse and Band On The Wall.

I started gigging professionally as a teenager in Nottingham, and moved to Manchester to study saxophone at the Royal Northern College of Music, where I began regularly performing at weddings, functions, events and festivals across Europe.

Background music - I have a flexible portable PA system, which can fun with or without mains power. I always use a wireless microphone so I can engage with guests as I perform. Usually 2x45min sets across 2 hours.
Upbeat Party Sax - usually 1x60min set, or 3x30min sets across 2 hours. Similar music played through my system during breaks.
I can perform anywhere! For outdoor performances, I require shade if it's really sunny, and cover if it's raining.
Absolutely, I'm always keen to tailor the music to each client, so please let me know if you have any genre/song requests, and I will do my best to accommodate.
