Dave is a touring musician. A One Man Classic Country And Oldies Rock Band to be more specific. He is based in Peoria Arizona and is able to travel just about anywhere in the US.
As one of the top One Man Bands In Arizona, Dave plays music from Frank Sinatra to The Eagles and from Ernest Tubb to George Straight. He does all the music a full band does, and does it complete with full instrumentation and backup vocals.
Dave has been a full time professional lead guitarist and vocalist for most of his life and since 2002 music has been his only job. He plays the guitar parts live, just like he would in a regular band.
Playing music as a One Man Band seems to work best for him because he likes so many different types of music and artists. As a One Man Band Dave plays some of the best music from the 40’s, 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, 90's and even a few newer ones. He couldn’t do that with the bands because the members didn't know all the songs. Since he is mainly a guitarist he even throws in some of his favorite guitar instrumentals once in a while.
Dave’s set up is quite high tech and lets him sound like the bands whose songs he’s playing. Dave's Motto Is:

I do between 250 to 400 songs and my song list is constantly changing. The most current is available upon request.
I just need around a 6ft x 8 ft space with a single 110 electrical outlet.

I do play music during my breaks if needed.
Performed at a large outdoor barbeque event for more than 1000 people.
I love playing at all sorts of events and don't really have a favorite.
Began playing professionally in 1976 at the age of 17. I have been a full time professional lead guitarist and vocalist for most of my life and am going on 47 years this year (2024)
I have been influenced by so many artists both in singing and playing. It would take a long time to list them. My all time favorite is Elvis. I can't list a greatest song either. There are so many fantastic songs from over the years.
I will typically arrive 30 to 45 minutes before start time to set up. I prefer to play between one to three hours with a short break every hour. If the performance is 90 minutes I don't usually take a break.
I am totally fine playing outside except in winter. I do ask for shade, a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area if possible.
I do take requests if i know them and clients are welcome to pick a set list from our repertoire or let us choose the music for them.
