Hello there! I'm Davide Romeo and I love to play my saxophone. I study jazz music but I play different kinds of music. If you are searching for a person with years of experience, I'm the guy for you. I played until last summer at weddings and other kinds of events all over Italy, especially around the Amalfi coast: a very famous place for these kinds of events (you can see some performances in the videos). I've played with a quintet (Jazz'o Band) for the last five years but I also worked alone with backing tracks, especially at the cut of the cake. The bride and the groom were really happy to listen to love songs like jazz ballads, romantic pop songs or bossa novas and different kinds of blues.
I studied jazz saxophone in Italy (Conservatory of Bologna) for three years (Bachelor) and another two years (Master) at the Conservatory of Salerno. In the second year of my master, I was an exchange student here in the Netherlands (Codarts of Rotterdam).
I did a lot of workshops and I have worked professionally for 10 years.
I'm a serious person that understands what an event means. I'm always focusing on the moment and I'm fast at managing the unpredictable.
