I bring an instrument, a wireless microphone, an effector, in-ear monitoring and the necessary cabling, USB flash drives, etc. and eventually a laptop (for playing background music). However, I leave the rest of the equipment, i.e., the speakers and the mixer, to the client or the DJ. The microphone connects via a 6.3 jack/XLR and in-ear listening via a 2x jack/2x cinch.

I need to know if there is a DJ or a soundman who I can connect to with my equipment or eventually if the speakers are on site. But it's the question more for the client.

I have to collect into my small "pilot" bag also my items as clothes and hygienic of course :) For longer stays or if there is a suit request I have to take the usual check-in luggage.

Daniel Otisk aka DeeSaxx is from Havirov City, Czechia and he has played saxophone since 2002. He graduated from the elementary art school with a saxophone and there he played in the local orchestra and also with his favourite jazz band for many years. He also graduated from the university as a system engineer.

Setup: wireless microphone Sennheiser (6.3 jack/XLR), wireless in-ear Shure (2x cinch/2x 6.3 jack), necessary cables.
Performance times: 1-6 hours in 10-20min sets (flexible in timing depending on another program). Extra hours are charged.

I use usually songs from my repertoire (about 230 songs), but I'm also able to play out of them. Dance music and improvisation with DJs is the order of the day for me, but if there were songs on request for a ceremony or the first dance in the form of a sax cover without a vocal line, I have to go through the song first to see if it is playable for me.

I can recommend DJs from my experience (from different countries), but I can also agree with anyone yours. However, I'm not a DJ personally and during my show I'm fully dedicated to the saxophone and personal interaction with the audience :)

No, I always perform with a music background. I play them on your (or my) laptop in the form of a playlist, i.e. it isn't a continuous set like with a DJ. I can play suitable background music during my breaks. Solo performance without a DJ is only for a maximum duration of 4 hours.
