Martín de la Maza Espinal Bass Player of Funk, Rock, Blues and Latin at Barcelona

I was born on November 17th of 1999, in Viña del Mar (Chile). I've performed as a bass player for ten years, also I am a producer and a composer specialized in OST and audiovisual media. I graduated in "Science and Art's of Music Degree" alongside creating a composition at the "Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso" (PUCV), where I developed a strong base in musical theory and composition. In 2020 my first work as a composer was released, called "5 meses en 5 minutos", which forms part of the "XVI Internacional Festival of Contemporanean Music Composition Darwin Vargas". In 2022 I moved to Barcelona to study a "Master's Degree in Composition of Sountracks and Music for Audiovisual Media" at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya" (ESMUC), which I've graduated from in January of 2024. During this period, I had the opportunity to record an original BSO with the Bratislava's Symphony Orchestra at the Slovénsky Rozhlas Radio, for a shortfilm called "Cuando el Diablo se Aburre Sirve Copas" of Víctor Pons.

Currently I reside in Barcelona, perfectioning my training as a bass player, developing my perfomances playing and studing jazz and blues by myself. My intention it's to achieve more experience and life as a musician, playing at as many as possible gigs in Spain and Europe.
