We are a convergence of diverse talents and a celebration of unity through music:
Ramin is a multi-talented artist, proficient in painting, singing, Farsi calligraphy, and percussion. He adds a unique dimension to the group's creative prowess. His artistry extends beyond music, painting evocative visuals with both his voice and his brush.
Ardavan, the electric guitarist, embarked on his musical voyage at the age of 16. His musical aptitude combined with his experience as a music therapist brings a deeply empathetic and healing touch to their compositions.
Romain, the soulful cellist of Delband, has played the cello since childhood. His musical journey aligns with community wellbeing, using music as a conduit for connection and healing.
Our songs, rooted in Iranian culture, intertwine Persian and English lyrics, reflecting our diverse backgrounds and global outlook. Our music transcends boundaries, weaving a tapestry of emotions and experiences. Fusion music is our forte, blending traditional Iranian melodies with contemporary sounds. In just a year, we have lent their melodies to various causes, performing for organisations and charities supporting refugees and other humanitarian causes.
In Farsi, 'Delband' means ‘the bonds of the heart’. Which is why Delband's music is not just about rhythm and melodies, it is also a testament to the power of harmony, unity, and the universal language of the heart.
